If you are from a country at high risk of TB it is a university regulation (No.26) that you are screened for TB or you risk suspension from your course/campus.
Even if you have a UKVI Pre-Departure TB Medical Certificate, you must still make an appointment for TB screening (within 10 days of arrival at UEA) and attend your TB screening appointment with us. Call 01603 251600 to book. Please bring your certificate with you.
If you have already had TB screening at the medical centre when you first arrived at the UEA, and have not been outside the UK for >6 months to any country listed below, then you do not require a screening appointment. Whilst you may have had UKBA (Border Agency) screening, you will still need to have this screening when you arrive on campus.
If you have already had TB screening when you first arrived at the UEA, but you have been overseas for a period of 6+ months to any country listed below, then you do require another TB screening appointment – please call reception 01603 251600 to book this.
