Some nurse clinic appointments can be dealt with via telephone – if you would like a phone appointment, discuss with the member of reception team when you book.
General Nurse Appointments (Nurse A) Clinic
This clinic is available every day, Monday – Friday. Mostly pre-booked appointments, some book on day availability.
- Repeat contraceptive pills

- Routine adult immunisations
- Baby and child immunisations
- Hayfever, bites and stings
- Wound dressings
- Suture/clip removals
- Tonsillitis
- Emergency contraception
- Cystitis (urine infection)

Health Care Assistant (HCA)
This service is available most days, at various times, Monday – Friday.
- Wound dressings
- ECGs
- Suture/clip removals
- Health checks
- Lifestyle advice
- Blood pressure checks
- Weight monitoring
- CVD checks
- Diabetic reviews
- Seasonal flu vaccines
- Tuberculosis screening
Phlebotomy (Blood Taking) Clinic
This service is available most mornings, Monday – Friday. You must have an current blood test request form to book into this clinic.
Respiratory Clinic
This clinic is available on various days/times throughout the week. Specialist trained asthma nurses who can deal with
- Teach and assess peak flow, inhaler and spacer techniques
- Issue repeat medication
- Change asthma medication
- Perform reviews and ongoing monitoring
- Asthma action plans
Sexual Health (Nurse B) Clinic
This clinic is available on various days/times throughout the week. Specialist trained sexual health nurses offering expert advice and support. We can provide:
- Contraceptive advice
- Contraception – all methods
- Emergency contraception
- Cervical screening
- Hepatitis B vaccination for men who has sex with men
- Testing for most sexually transmitted infections and guidance for those requiring further testing
- Treatment for STIs
- Safer sex advice
- HIV testing and advice
- Chlamydia testing
- Any other issues related to sexual health

Travel Health Clinic
For registered and non-registered patients.
This clinic is available most weeks on various days/times. Travel consultations are carried out by specialist travel nurses who have experience in conducting full risk assessments for single and multi destination travellers – wherever you are travelling to.
We are a registered Yellow Fever vaccination centre.
